What you don't get

What we look for in your quote
Honest reviews come from looking at the same things a senior estimator looks at on a real bid. Here's what we check:
- Equipment match. Is the model number actually appropriate for your home's load, or is it a popular SKU bundled in regardless of fit? We cross-check the listed tonnage against your square footage and a Manual J approximation.
- Tier-vs-price logic. A 14 SEER2 single-stage system shouldn't cost what a variable-speed 18+ SEER2 system costs. We flag price gaps that don't match the equipment tier.
- Install scope. What's actually included? New line set vs. flush of the existing? New plenum or reuse? Permit pulled? Old equipment hauled away? We list what you're paying for and what's missing.
- Warranty terms. Manufacturer parts warranty (10 years standard on registered equipment) plus labor warranty (varies wildly between contractors). We tell you what's standard and what's a real differentiator.
- Local market rate. What does this same scope cost from three other reasonable contractors in Pearland and South Houston, in 2026? We give you a defensible range.
Even if your quote turns out to be fair
We mean it. If the contractor you got a bid from is in the right range and selling you the right equipment, we'll tell you so and recommend you proceed with them. The reason we built this offer isn't to poach jobs, it's because most homeowners get one quote, feel uneasy, and have nowhere honest to turn for a sanity check.

Will you actually tell me if the other company's quote is fair?
Yes. In writing. We'll point to the specific line items that look high, low, or right, and explain the math we used to get there. If the other quote is fair, we say so and tell you to go with them. We're not going to lose sleep over a $500 service ticket; we'd rather build a 10-year relationship.
What does this cost?
Nothing. No diagnostic fee, no consultation charge, no fine print. We do this because most homeowners shopping a $10K-$15K HVAC quote have nowhere honest to turn for a sanity check.
Is someone going to call me to upsell me?
No. You get a written response inside 2 to 24 hours. We follow up only if you ask us to, by replying to that email or booking a free in-home estimate.
What information do you need from me?
A copy of the existing quote (PDF, photo, or screenshot, whatever you have), your home's rough square footage, the age of the existing system, and your ZIP code. Anything else you want to share is helpful but optional.
How long does it take?

Do you review quotes outside your service area?
We respond either way. If the quoted job is outside our service area (Pearland, Friendswood, League City, Alvin, Manvel, Pasadena, Webster, Clear Lake, and surrounding ZIPs), we'll still tell you whether the price looks fair for the regional market, and we won't pitch you on a job we can't actually do.
